That means for the purposes of XP farming, Leoric's Crown Ruby in head of follower is equivalent to a +5.37% damage bonus for your character. Since monsters gain 17% health per GR level, an equivalent damage multiplier would have to be 1.17 0.333 ~= 1.0537. So with a 100% Leoric's Crown, you get 41 * 2 /10 /5 = 1.64 % XP bonus. If I'm not mistaken, XP% translates to 20% from follower to main character. So instead of that Broken Crown, why not give him a Leoric's Crown with an Emerald for Gold Find or Ruby for a little XP instead? Broken Crown is useless once you're decked out with Flawless Imperial gems at the beginning of the season, you usually get enough gems anyways to augment by the time your legendary gems are ready to augment anyways. I don't remember exactly how they transfer, I think I remember it was only 20% of the bonus or something like that? But at least for gold, that is still something. For example people are memeing about Goldskin because of its lackluster legendary effect, however I think they're overlooking the +100% gold find bonus effect the item also holds. So yes you're right technically we shouldn't only look at Emanate effects. If there was a damage item that would allow the follower to complete, the player character would wear it himself and deal 40,000x more damage that way. The player character does so much more damage through all the generic damage multipliers available to him that follower damage is irrelevant. Gold Find, Magic Find, XP bonus.Īll the damage options are useless. Ess of Joan, Wyrdward etc.Īdventure stats are still carrying over at the reduced rate, just how it worked previously, i.e.
